Aura Live brings creators and fans together to stream, chat, call, send gifts, and share moments. These Guidelines explain what is and is not allowed, and they apply to everyone — broadcasters, party guests, viewers, and anyone else on the Platform.
These Guidelines are part of our Terms of Service. They are written to be easy to read; when they and the Terms conflict, the Terms control. Breaking these Guidelines can get your content removed, your features restricted, and your account permanently banned. For the operational side — how we detect violations, how reports are prioritized, and how appeals work — see the Moderation Policy. Live counts of enforcement actions are at the Transparency page.
1. Safety First
We take an immediate, zero-tolerance stance toward anything that endangers children, threatens real-world harm, promotes terrorism, or depicts serious violence. The following content will be removed on sight, reported to the appropriate authorities when required by law, and will result in permanent account loss — often without warning.
- Child sexual exploitation (CSAM) in any form — images, videos, text, voice chat, avatars, or fictional depictions. We report to NCMEC (U.S.) and international equivalents.
- Minors on camera. No one under 18 may appear in a livestream, party, paid call, or premium media. Bringing a minor on screen — even briefly, even in the background — is a severe violation.
- Credible threats of violence against a person, group, or location.
- Terrorism and violent extremism — recruitment, glorification, branded propaganda, or sharing attack content.
- Self-harm and suicide. We remove content that promotes or encourages self-harm. When someone appears to be in crisis we surface resources and alert our safety team; if you see this, please report it with the Safety & crisis report reason.
- Human trafficking and sexual services. Do not buy, sell, or advertise sexual services, and do not recruit for sex work.
- Real-world violence — gore, torture, animal cruelty, non-consensual fights, or footage of real attacks.
- Graphic medical content shown to shock rather than inform.
- Weapons and dangerous goods. No brandishing firearms or illegal weapons on stream; no sales of weapons, ammunition, explosives, regulated drugs, or counterfeit goods.
2. No Nudity or Sexual Content
Aura is not an adult platform. Nudity, sexually explicit content, and sexualized posing are not allowed anywhere on the Platform. That includes:
- Exposed genitals, buttocks, or female breasts (including partial exposure and sheer clothing).
- Sex acts, masturbation, or the promise of sex acts in exchange for gifts, tokens, or any other consideration.
- Close-ups, camera angles, or poses that sexualize otherwise permitted clothing.
- Underwear or lingerie as the only outfit on a stream.
- Swimwear outside a pool, beach, gym, or similar context.
- Sexual roleplay in voice, video, text, or private messages.
- Sexualized deepfakes or AI-generated nudes of real people.
This rule applies in public streams, party streams, direct messages, stories, posts, and profile pictures. (Paid 1:1 calls and pay-per-unlock premium DM media are currently soft-cut on the Platform — see Creator Terms §9.)
3. Harassment, Bullying, and Hate
Treat other people the way you would want to be treated. We remove content and take action against accounts that:
- Target another user with insults, slurs, sexual comments, body-shaming, or sustained personal attacks.
- Spread content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or serious disease.
- Use slurs, hateful symbols, or organized-hate branding.
- Brigade, dog-pile, or encourage followers to harass someone on or off the Platform.
- Stream someone's private moment, image, or video without their consent (sometimes called “leaks”).
- Dox another person — revealing or threatening to reveal their home address, workplace, ID, phone number, or family members.
- Out someone's sexual orientation, gender identity, HIV status, or similar personal information without their consent.
4. Privacy and Consent
Respect other people's privacy and consent, both on and off screen.
- Do not bring someone onto a stream or party without their informed consent, and remove anyone who withdraws consent.
- Do not record, reshare, or re-stream another user's stream, message, or call, except using features the Platform explicitly provides for that purpose.
- Do not film identifiable strangers (for example, people in public who did not agree to be on a live broadcast) and post them as entertainment.
- Do not impersonate another person or brand. Parody must be clearly labeled and must not harm the impersonated subject.
5. Integrity: No Fraud, No Bots, No Gaming the System
Aura's economy only works if the numbers are real. These are grounds for permanent ban and forfeiture of any gem balance:
- Self-gifting using a second account, a friend, or a ring of accounts to send yourself gifts.
- Bots and fake viewers — using automation, purchased views, or coordinated joins to inflate audience numbers, rankings, or leaderboards.
- Chargeback abuse — disputing a legitimate purchase after consuming the service.
- Off-platform side-payments to reimburse gift senders or split payouts so rankings look organic.
- Pre-recorded content posed as live. Streams must be a live broadcast.
- Multiple accounts used to evade a prior ban or to stack rewards from a single program.
- Selling, trading, or transferring your account, tokens, gems, or cashout rights.
- Exploiting bugs for real-world gain instead of reporting them to security@auralive.tv.
6. Intellectual Property
Only stream or post content you have the right to share. Do not:
- Stream movies, TV shows, sports, or full-length videos you do not own or license.
- Play recorded music in a way that violates the license you have for it. Music played during a stream should be original, licensed, or royalty-free.
- Re-upload someone else's photos, videos, or artwork without permission and credit.
- Use another person's trademarks, logos, or likeness in a way that implies a false endorsement.
If you believe content on Aura infringes your copyright, submit a DMCA notice to copyright@auralive.tv.
7. Illegal and Regulated Goods
Do not buy, sell, trade, or promote on Aura:
- Illegal drugs or regulated prescription medications.
- Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapon modifications.
- Human organs, endangered species, or stolen goods.
- Counterfeit currency, fake IDs, or forged documents.
- Gambling services, illegal lotteries, or unregulated financial products (including pump-and-dump schemes, unregistered securities, and ICO/rug-pull promotions).
8. Spam, Scams, and Phishing
Do not use Aura to:
- Send unsolicited promotional messages at scale.
- Pretend to be Aura support, an investor, a romantic partner, or anyone else in order to extract money, tokens, gems, or personal information.
- Post fake giveaways, investment schemes, “double your tokens” offers, or similar scams.
- Link to malware, phishing pages, or deceptive surveys.
If someone claiming to be Aura ever asks you for your password, that is a scam. We never ask for your password, token code, or login confirmation code outside the official login screens.
9. Minors
Aura is only for people 18 and older. If you are under 18, do not create an account, and do not appear on stream, in a party, in a story, or in any other content on the Platform — even if an older person is hosting. If you find an account being operated by a minor, report it with the Underage user reason, or email safety@auralive.tv.
10. Reporting, Appeals, and Enforcement
Most moderation starts with reports from other users. You can report a stream, message, post, or profile from its “...” menu, or by tapping a user's avatar and choosing Report. Reports are anonymous to the reported party. False or retaliatory reports may themselves be a Guideline violation.
Depending on severity, we may:
- Send an educational warning in-app.
- Remove the offending content.
- Mute a user in chat for a fixed duration.
- Kick a user from a stream.
- Temporarily restrict a feature (for example, cashouts).
- Suspend the account for a period of time.
- Permanently ban the account and forfeit gem balances.
- Report the account to law enforcement or to app-store trust & safety.
If you believe an action was a mistake, you can appeal by emailing appeals@auralive.tv with your handle and the date/time of the action.
11. Extra Rules for Creators
Creators — anyone who goes live, hosts parties, posts to the feed, or earns gems — are held to a higher bar because you set the tone for your community and carry more visibility. You are responsible for:
- Moderating your own chat (muting, kicking, banning harassers or rule-breakers).
- Making sure anyone you bring on screen has consented and is over 18.
- Not soliciting tips, payments, or “extras” outside the Platform's token system.
- Following the Creator & Livestreaming Terms, including the cashout, KYC, and anti-fraud rules there.
12. We Can Update These Guidelines
We may update these Guidelines as the Platform evolves and as new abuse patterns emerge. We'll post the updated “Last updated” date at the top; in most cases material updates will be announced in-app before they take effect.
13. Thanks for Being Here
Aura works because most people show up to connect, support creators, and have a good time. If you see something wrong, report it. If you're unsure whether something is okay, err on the safer side or ask us at safety@auralive.tv.
